Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel Every Country in the world
ABOUT ME
I am a human rights attorney. I developed my interest in international human rights issues as an undergraduate in Sociology and through my extensive travels. In the last few years, have taken time away from school to live and work abroad. I have traveled independently to seventy different countries and have lived and worked abroad for over 5 years. This time has also allowed me to mature in ways that simply would not have occurred had I gone directly from college to law school and never lived abroad. For three years I lived and worked in China so I have a very specific understanding of Chinese culture and life in a developing nation.
PHILOSOPHY
Its better to simply observe than to judge....you will learn far.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am currently planning another big trip. I want to take the next seven months and explore areas of the world I have missed before. I don't have a well defined plan, but I like to leave myself open to traveling on a whim.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have never couch-surfed before. But I am excited about meeting new people around the world. In the past I have always stayed in hostels, which I think is a great way to meet people. But I have heard that couch-surfing is a great way to meet locals.
Interests
I main area of interest is backpacking. If I manage to see the world during my time here on earth, I will be able to feel like I saw what there was to see. I am interested in different cultures and the connections that unite us all.

I have seen six of the seven wonders of the world...and I have sat on the floor of a Chinese train for 35 hours once...because all the seats were sold out.
Teach, Learn, Share
Because I have traveled so much, I like to think I have an international perspective. I speak Chinese and I am always up for a long chat over a beer.
