I'm both a photographer and illustrator currently living in the beautiful city of Edinburgh, Scotland. On daily basis I eat haggis, wear a kilt and listen to bagpipe music, all while watching Braveheart ;)
I'm currently in a phase where I'm figuring out what to do with my life, so who knows, maybe in two months I'll be somewhere else :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I joined this website before I moved to Los Angeles. I had trouble finding somewhere to stay and it didn't sound appealing to stay by myself in a sketchy motel in a massive city where I've never been. I decided to try couchsurfing, and I was amazed by how friendly and helping my host was then.
I haven't hosted or stayed with other people much the past few years. I have moved multiple times/countries in the last two years, and I couldn't host at those places.

I will be able to host again after moving into a new flat in Canada in a few months

Intereses

Art and traveling are my favorite things to. I love photography and seeing new places is good for that. I like fashion and drawing.

Música, películas y libros

Music, I'm interested in a lot so anything from Johnny Cash to Moderat and from Type O Negative to Manu Chao. In other words, a lot haha.
Movies, I like pretty much every roadtrip movie, Paris,Texas is my favorite movie ever and I love Twin Peaks and other David Lynch.
Books, I enjoy reading Bukowski because of his writing style. I also like to read art critics. But I have to admit that I don't read as much as I'd like to.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Roadtrip through Death Valley was quite epic. I've never been somewhere where it was that quiet in my life.
Living in Los Angeles by myself was quite amazing, I have to say.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Teach you some Dutch 'down to earthness' haha :P And of course the language. I have some photography skills that I could teach you.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

A detailed tour of the beautiful city of Edinburgh, accompanied by the best breakfast in town and yes that includes haggis. I won't force you to climb that one mountain they have in the city, neither can you force me ;)
