ABOUT ME

Not the best at describing myself, I am sure my friends would be better at that...however, love the outdoors, experiences, both new and familiar, and learning more about myself through travel and meeting new people...I am intrigued by moments and how every choice can lead to a different path...am overall pretty happy...and am amazed how once you trust in the universe it tends to provide!

PHILOSOPHY

i have finally learned to trust in the universe and in myself...and it has made all the difference. the more i travel, the more i experience, the more i want to see and do...i plan to continue to live well, learn as much as i can while having a great time, being a good friend and know that everything will be as it should. i try to live in the moment and day to day, to not get too far ahead of myself...because the present seriously is all we can fully focus on at one time. i have found worrying is a waste of energy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i have surfed more than i have been able to host - however - i really enjoy both. perhaps one of my favorite things is talking with others who are unfamiliar with couchsurfing and sharing the different experiences i have had when it comes up in conversation - it is awesome to see their eyes open and curiosity sparked.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with a few different people while traveling and it has completely changed my experience for the better...so nice to meet new people and see places differently. The people make the place!

Intereses

love the outdoors - rafting, hiking, skiing, kayaking, camping, biking - love wine and patio drinking with friends old and new - cooking, traveling, live music...i have a yellow lab named lilly, although she's been living with my brother the past year...we skype...but above all i embrace new challenges and experiences and thrive on living life to the fullest and trying to make even the ordinary better...to appreciate where i am at all times, not just when i am out doing something new.
