I'm living and working in Dar es Salaam for the summer. I'm hoping to meet up with folks also in Dar who are into exploring the city and the culture, and into doing weekend trips to beaches and parks in the area.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While living in Olinda, Brazil 2009-10 I hosted several CSers at my apartment. Had a great time! I'm now hoping to use CS to meet up with other folks in Tanzania.

I love to read books that I learn from and am inspired by. Some favorites are Mountains Beyond Mountains, Shantaram, One River, and The House of the Spirits. Also love to read anything by David Sedaris, Barbara Kingsolver, and Isabel Allende. Pablo Neruda is my favorite poet.
