ABOUT ME

I grew up in the northeastern United States, but have been lucky enough to connect with special places and people all over the world. I've lived in the plains of Germany, the mountains of Canada, and the deserts of the United States.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live in the moment, and make the most of it. While traveling, I am very flexible and find that I have the better experiences when exploring without a guide book. I find the best moments of life in the liminality of a long train ride, or from the winds at the top of a mountain.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have attended many couch surfing meet-ups, and also stayed with one host. I will hopefully be able to start hosting in once I move to a new apartment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experiences have been very positive. CS creates a space to meet people from a variety of backgrounds, and staying with fellow couch surfers has been great.

兴趣

Besides traveling, I have taken up a great interest in fixing old motorcycles, and hope to eventually combine the two. I also enjoy hiking, camping and skiing.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Climbed Mt. Fuji in the off season. Very challenging, but it was incredible. The bioluminescence in Costa Rica was pretty rad too.
