About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Laugh too hard daily.

ABOUT ME

I'm very easy going, a little sarcastic, and pretty easy to talk to. I'm pretty independent person and traveler, but love doing things with other people. I'm an honest, caring person, and can find a way to have fun in almost any situation.

PHILOSOPHY

Laughing makes everything better.

Care, but don't be bothered.

Plans are important, but following them is optional. Stay open minded, and let things "just happen."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed couches throughout Europe for a summer, and met some amazing people along the way. Everyone has been so great, and I can't wait to return the favor as soon as I get a place of my own...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I've had nothing but good experiences! I've met some wonderful people, and had some amazing experiences with people from all over the world. I love it!

Interests

I enjoy good company, graphic design, singing out loud, swimming, photography, and making new friends. I also like piano music, dancing (even though I'm not that good), spontaneity , and good drinks with great people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to pretty much anything... Lately, I've been listening to some Bon Iver, Jose Gonzalez, and Cat Power pretty frequently. Regardless of what I'm into at the moment, I can't keep myself away from good ol' tunes from artists such as Billy Joel, Ray Charles, and David Bowie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd have to say the summer I spent traveling Europe on my own the best thing I've experienced thus far. A close second would have to be the summer I spent sharing a house in the mountain with 14 other interns. In both cases, I got to know some great people that I wouldn't have been able to meet any other way, which is one of my favorite things.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: how to play euchre (even though most people outside of the mid-west haven't even heard of it, it's a great card game... promise.)

Share: good conversation and constant optimism.

Learn: anything you've got to show me.
