ABOUT ME

I am a California native, having lived most of my life in the Los Angeles area, but also in San Francisco and the Bay Area. I am adventurous and outgoing, and I love to dance, party, meet new people, play outside (from hiking to beach hopping), try unique and exciting things, share great music, and eat scrumptious food! And of course, travel as often and to as many places as I can manage!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a few times so far on my travels in Europe. I really enjoy meeting locals and expats. I have also hosted, but right now I live on the road so hosting is a little tough.

Oh, and I'm always trying to color in my maps a little more! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a few surfs under my belt now and it's been great! So far I have stayed with expats and it's been super interesting to see all the different points of view on leaving your home country :)

I am an avid reader, I love music and movies of most genres, and I dig the outdoors. Exploring, hiking and swimming are all things I enjoy, but as long as the scenery is beautiful and the company plentiful, I'm happy!

My tastes run the gamut...

Movies: Anything from Boondock Saints to American Beauty to Tombstone to Blow Dry to... well, it could go on for a while :)

Music: I have deep roots in classic rock, with faves like Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin, but I generally like a wide range of music. I love to dance, so electronica is high on my list, especially anything with a heavy beat. A VERY compacted list would include Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Krewella, Robyn, Ellie Goulding, T.E.E.D., Swedish House Mafia, Tegan & Sara, Goldfrapp, 12th Planet... geez, I could keep going, but I wont. You get the picture :)

Books: I usually like fiction, especially historical fiction, but also fantasy and mystery/adventure. Unfortunately (or fortunately I suppose, depending how you look at it), I read very quickly, so new material is always in demand :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've been lucky enough to see some amazing concerts/artists in my life: BB King, Rolling Stones, Queen, Prince, Aerosmith, KISS, Etta James, Steve Vai, Roger Waters, War and Peter Gabriel, to name a few. Since music is such a big part of who I am, these are some of the best memories of my life.

I have also added some awesome travel stories to my repertoire, which I would be happy to share over a cup of coffee or something stronger ;)

I think everybody has something to teach as well as something to learn. I'll try almost anything once and I'm happy to teach whatever I know to whomever may ask :) I have some herbal and gardening knowledge that I'm always happy to both impart and expand on, and I am hoping to pick up French and Spanish to help me in my travels.
