About Me
What to say about me? Hmm I have been dreaming of travelling for years. Not just a short trip in a new place, no, I wanted to quit everything I knew and just leave without any plan, without anyone else than myself, eager (and afraid) to figure out what my life could be.
I finally got to do it.
That was right before COVID in January 2020 and I just lived incredible experiences.
I've learnt more important things than any school could ever teach me. I've learnt that freedom is about being spontaneous and living a day at a time, making the most out of what we have right now. I've learnt that happiness is about meeting people and opening up, breaking all kind of boundaries which exist only in our minds. I've learnt that fear is incredibly strong but when you dare being stronger, life becomes magical.
I've learnt so much I couldn't possibly write it all down now. But you get the idea 😉
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is an incredible way for me to meet people who share a common hobby: travelling.
Wether I'm welcoming guests or traveling myself, it always brings a new perspective on life and some more fun.
Interests
I recently got into yoga and meditation and I'm really trying to get better at it, learning and deepening my practice.
I feel home wherever I'm surrounded by nature and try to make it happen as often as possible, either going hiking, trekking, running, swimming, cycling or even just going for a nap in the forest
I also love cooking, not the following recipe kind but more the experimental kind. I usually don't know what I am cooking till it's done. I use ingredients I find in my fridge and try to make something tasty out of it. It usually is, sometimes not... You could tell me what you think of it :)
- board games
- reading
- music
- karaoke
- yoga and meditation
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a lot listening to music while travelling, reading a book I found along the way or watching a good mood movie when I happen to have Internet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my best travel experience was to couchsurf at a Bulgarian family's apartment. They were the most welcoming and nice people I had the chance to meet. I left there speechless and grateful for so much kindness.
And that was just the beginning.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning anything I don't know, so if you're passionate about something, I would love to hear all about it (no matter how odd your passion might be)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll be glad to help with anything I can. I would really enjoy cooking for you, playing ukulele, dancing, having fun, playing board games, whatever
