ABOUT ME

I hate filling out these about you things. I never know exactly what to say about myself because how can one possibly be defined within this tiny box? So... I guess I'll try and say some stuff that make you think that I'm cool, but it may not.... and to be honest... I don't mind either way.

I love meeting new people. I love coffee and I love the arts (especially music). There are few things that I enjoy more than having good conversation with wonderful people while drinking a great cup of coffee (or beer) while good music plays in the background. I know, that's not that unique, but hey, it's the truth. :)

I have crazy dreams and goals and ambitions and don't have a clue how they'll be accomplished, but that's okay. I'm working towards them in the ways that I know how I trust that everything will work out as I do my absolute best.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the few weeks since I've joined up with CS, I've had four people stay at my house and have a few scheduled to stay in the coming weeks. I love being able to help people out with something as simple as a safe, free place to stay as they journey through life. It's great to meet people from other places and share a glimpse of their life with them. I hope at some point in the near future to get the opportunity to travel and couch surf, but for now I will content myself with facilitating others travels and surfing experiences!

That was quite a while ago. I haven't been able to participate much these past few years because of the direction life has taken me but I'm hoping to be able to be more active with this in the coming months.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are too many to list! I don't even know where to begin. I love music and being introduced to new music! I'll listen to anything a few times to decide if I like it or not.

As far as books go, I will read pretty much anything. I am a book fiend and seem to never have enough books on hand to keep me satisfied.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked in Ephesus. So amazing to stand somewhere with so much history, to walk roads that have been walked for thousands of years.

Teach, Learn, Share

The most important thing we teach others is simply ourselves. There is nothing as meaningful as your story. I have many stories to share and love doing so. I can also play guitar well enough to teach someone some basics and I can teach you some American Sign Language (which is a useful thing to know, trust me). I can teach you how to see the world through my eyes for one day.

I want to learn anything and everything I can! Mostly, I want to learn your story. I want to know what makes you you, what has shaped and influenced you on your journey. I would love to learn how to see the world through your eyes.
