About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I like to travel a lot but for me it is all about the people. I want to see how they live and be part of their community, even for a brief moment.
ABOUT ME
I don´t take life too seriously, and I don´t value things the way I value people, life and travel. I want to travel the earth without leaving a massive footprint. I am passionate about helping others, keeping waste to a minimum and equal rights.
PHILOSOPHY
It sounds simple, but life doesn't need to be complicated, we all deserve to be happy, and as long as we look out for each other in the process, we should do whatever it takes to achieve that. My life is about family, friends, experience, health, food, art and music. Most importantly, I think we should keep learning. I find it easiest if you look at the world as a child would. I wish I had the "no fear" aspect too...but I am working on it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed quite a bit and also communicated with people regarding travel tips etc via couchsurfing. I have also met people for chats. My overall experience is very positive.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My boyfriend and I have been couchsurfing a bit in Argentina and Chile! We plan to continue as it is a great way to meet people with local knowledge. We have always felt welcome in the homes of our hosts, we love the community spirit that comes with couchsurfing! On my return to Australia I plan to host when I can to return the favour.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music. Indie rock/alternative/brit pop. I like Bright Eyes, The Shins, The Wombats, The Killers, RHC Peppers, and really into Grouplove ATM. Also like some older blues and rock bands like the Rolling Stones, Air Supply etc and of course...I grew up on grunge so will always love Pearl Jam, Nirvana (I know I am not supposed to put them together!), Mudhoney, the Pixies, Soundgarden etc. Movies. Quirky ones such as Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind, Igby goes down and Party Monster, Napolean Dynamite, Withnail and I. Inception was great. I saw The Fighter recently and really liked that, as well as some classics like A Street Car named Desire and Clockwork Orange. Books. I read mostly fiction for escapism, and eclectic mix of classics and modern books. I like To Kill a Mockingbird, In Cold Blood and one of my favourite books is called Glove Puppet. It is a bit obscure. Occacionlly I read biographies such as Scar Tissue.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Tiger Leaping Gorge in China was the most amazing thing I saw on my travels. It was breathtakingly beautiful, and still remains fairly untouched. I had to pinch myself to make sure it was real.
