What the world needs now is love sweet love. I absolutely love people! I love meeting new people, hearing their stories (everyone has a story), and sharing my stories, too. I am married to my best friend and the love of my life. I have two grown sons whom I love with all my heart. I love my God with all that I am, but I don't believe He needs to be crammed down anyone's throat and I do not project my beliefs on others, including judgement- I am no ones' judge. I love to laugh, but I don't know any good jokes. Makes sense, right? I can be formal, or I can be casual. I just enjoy being where I'm at while I'm there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently gave up everything- my job/career, all my possessions, my home, everything- so that I could travel all over and simply meet people. I want to share love with others (Nothing kinkey! Just simple humanatarian love.), share my story, and travel and see new places. After looking at my life, I realized that I didn't want to plan for retirement years down the road, but I wanted to start living right now! And the best way to meet people is to meet them where they are at. So whether I am hitchhiking or walking or on the train or bus, I am just out trying to meet the beautiful people of the world.

Interests

My first love is my God, then my husband, children and family and the people of the world. I LOVE experiencing new cultures, foods, music, and all that fun stuff that makes us all different. I love laughing! I love animals and the beach and sunshine. I love learning and writing and reading. I also love epic movies and live events and old black & white tv shows. I've recently been introduced into the permaculture scene and the living off the grid/self sustained lifestyle, and I'm REALLY feeling it! But the thing I'm most interested in is meeting people and making new friends!

Music: I can't just list a bunch of artists and songs because music speaks to the soul, so it's not really a list for me. I love music and I love anything that allows me to worship my God- so it's all about the soul of music; what's the heart behind it?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove four hours every weekend for several years to visit and take care of my mom. She was my favorite! I love her and miss her terribly.

(I think natural childbirth for both my sons is a pretty close competitor, though. I am so averted to pain- I can't even handle hot sauce!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My husband and I both have pretty incredible life stories. We love to share our wisdom, life experiences, and simple conversations. But I also am great at organizing (my husband calls me an "organizational savant"); I have a knack for it. I am also able to do light household work and I have lots of administration/clerical skills. I'm pretty good at just simply helping whenever and however I can. I like helping.
