About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see a lot of interesting places and meet a lot of interesting people

ABOUT ME

i'm a friendly person who likes to meet new people. they way i get to know someone is usually by joking around with them. i'm really clumsy and often have multiple bruises and scrapes. i was almost named grace, but my parents must have sensed i'd turn out this way and thought better of it. i'm a smart girl but not always the most logical thinker. i used to be a very picky eater but i've expanded my palette quite a bit and eating has become one of my favorite parts of traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

in the past few years, traveling has become one of the ways i most want to spend my time and money. i'm not really a religious person so i guess meeting people and experiencing things is the way i feel i can get the most out of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i've just joined this community and regret that i don't have a couch to offer currently, but i have already been impressed with the generosity and friendliness of other couchsurfers

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i haven't personally had any experience with couchsurfing yet but i've heard good things from those who have. hopefully i'll have some good stories to put here after my upcoming trip.

Interests

i really love and appreciate good humor - i like funny movies and tv shows, standup comedy, sarcasm and comedic writers. i run for fun. i'm really into crossword puzzles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i spent a few months with a study abroad program in rome. it was intimidating at first since i didn't know any italian and had never been out of the US except to vancouver, BC. it wasn't perfect and was often challenging, but it ended up being one of the most fun and rewarding things i've ever done. since then i've also spent some time in southeast asia and continue to plan trips whenever time and funds allow.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Canada, France, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, Vatican City State, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
