ABOUT ME

I'm from Siberia and this place means a lot to me.
After graduating from the university, I did a voluntary service in Estonia (EVS), a great place with great people! I fell in love with the Baltic and Scandinavian countries, especially with Estonia. How can such a small country be so diverse and rich in nature!?.
After my EVS was over, I stayed in Tallinn and worked there for 4 years as a teacher of English.
I also lived in Manresa, Catalonia for 2 wonderful years.

At the moment I'm living in France, the home country of my husband. We are renting a house "at the edge of the world". Well, don't worry, it's not so lost. It's just the name of the vineyards that surround our house :)

I work in a vocational high school, mostly teaching English, and volunteer in an alternative kindergarten/primary school.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in the Laws of the Universe and learning how to follow them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed many times but I haven't really hosted anyone. However, I'm really eager to do so, especially now when I live in the French countryside where it's not so easy to meet new people.

Interests

One of my biggest interests and passions is backpacking! That's due to the fact that I was born in one of the most beautiful regions of Russia. When I was 5 I started backpacking with my father, every year I explored new parts of my region: mountains, rivers, lakes, forests (especially taiga :))
I did wall-climbing for a year and I'd love to do it again.
I also love creating things with my hands. I weave mandalas named Ojos de Dios - an ancient American Indians' craft.
Board games!!!! We have rather an impressive collection of games and we'll be happy to play with you.
