ABOUT ME

I'm an American who has lived in Holland for nearly 10 years. I love living in Leiden and I would love to show people this beautiful, historic city. Before moving to Leiden, I had lived in Amsterdam for 7 years, so I know it well also if you would like to check out the "big city".

Music, Movies, and Books

I admit I still usually listen to music from the northwest US. Indie bands like the Decemberists, Thermals, Iron & Wine, Fleet Foxes, Sleater-Kinney, Elliott Smith... Some of my non-northwest favorites are Belle & Sebastian, Andrew Bird, Camera Obscura, and Liam Finn.

I prefer non-fiction books to fiction, something about reading an amazing story and thinking about how it actually happened adds to it.
