Présentation
À propos de moi
I just moved to Zonguldak, Ereğli! Any rare traveller visiting here is welcome to stay with me! The information on the profile are outdated. TO BE UPDATED SOON
Hey! I'm Emre, currently a student in Istanbul. I am studying Translation&Interpreting in Marmara University.
I don't really like to praise myself. So, I'll not say I'm an open-minded, easygoing (or whatever) person. Just check my references, and they will tell you about me.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
-I have had enough normal life to discover that I don't want to have a normal life. I need to visit more. I need to know more. I need to meet more. I need to discover more.
-Meeting with the people all around the world and hosting them sounds perfect. People have stories. I have stories. We have to share them!
-I have already met a lot of cool people thanks to this platform and I want to keep doing it.
-I want to show my culture and get to know about others. From differences, we can find awesome similarities. That's what makes me want to learn as much as I can from others.
Centres d'intérêt
- I'm a big enthusiast of hitchhiking. Until now, it gave me the possibility to meet people who I can never imagine. A lot of differences, a lot of different stories, a lot of different experiences....
- Camping. It always gives you the chance to listen to yourself. Even if you go to camping for just a weekend, you'll feel you recharge yourself. It's like feeling your own roots.
- My university department (also my part-time job) is also my hobby. Translating has always been a fantastic thing for me. You link two cultures. You help the flow of information. And when you do it, you learn a lot of things. It's awesome!!!
- I'm a big fan of sports. From football to swimming, from rollerblading to just walking... A lot of them. Some of them are the ones that I play, some of them are the ones that I just watch...

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
-I love a great scale of music. You can not keep it in a certain shape. One day I'll be listening reggae all the time, another day I'll start with electro, go on with indie and finish the day with ethnic music. One thing I'm sure: YES, WE CAN FIND A COMMON TASTE!
-Favorite books: Little Prince- The Day Lasts More Than a Hundred Years- Dead Souls- The Museum Of Innocence
-I can't say I watch a lot of movies and series. But when I watch, I don't really like fantastic movies. Believe it or not, I still haven't watched Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. But yes, I watched Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy 3 or 4 times! Also, I can list "The Big Lebowski", "My Name Is Khan" "Turtles Can Fly" etc.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
-Hitchhiking around Europe with nearly no money in my pocket, aged 18. Sleeping in the streets, sometimes not eating for 2 days. But it was all worth it. I met incredible people, had amazing experiences, learned a lot of things.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
-I really like the different gestures and mimics in different cultures. I would really like to get to know about yours! It might get really funny!
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
-I can cook something from really rich Turkish cuisine.
-I can exchange ideas!
-I can tell you about the culture of my country, accompanied by Turkish coffee (I'll, of course, cook some Turkish coffee for my hosts!)
