Live in Toronto = enjoying family and friends, working on my career... Oh yea, and having a good time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Cayman Islands, Sao Paulo, Cricuma, Salvador, Curitiba, Minais Gerais, Fortaleza - Crashed with complete strangers. Sounds kinda crazy but I had a BLAST! Why did I have such a BLAST? Because nothing beats going to a bar on a street corner in rural Brazil, being introduced as Jimmy Cliff or Bob Marley and watching a soccer game on a 14' screen with 20 other people (some of whom have never left their town) drinking Cachaca and cerveja, talking soccer, culture, life, and...

Music: I am interested in good music!
What's good music? stuff that strikes the "chords" in my guts! Includes but not restricted to:
- anything Motown
- Ska, rocksteady, old school reggae
- Jazz (different types)
- other

Movies: Shawshank redemption, Seven, The Harder They Come, The Matrix, any 007 flick, Scar Face, Mr. and Mrs. Smith...you get the idea :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I haven't travelled or couch surfed as much I would have liked. I am looking forward to doing a lot more travelling and surfing in the coming years and I am sure will have something to offer as time goes by...for now, I welcome lessons from other more experienced travellers.
