About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am experiencing South America for the first time. First a 1 month exchange program in Vila Velha, Brazil and then it's the road and what it brings to me for a few months.
ABOUT ME
I'm a lifeloving guy. I have family scattered around the globe from Copenhagen to Rome and New York. So, probably not to your surprise, I travel a lot and love doing so. Besides that I enjoy hanging out and chilling with my friends, and I hope CS will give me many great experiences with lots of new friends!!
PHILOSOPHY
Ah tough question.. the easy way to answer must just be to live and enjoy life to the fullest and deal with challenges as they come along... And remember to be open minded!! And optimistic!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Spring 2011 I went traveling across the US with my good friend Kristoffer. We were on the road for two months and couchsurfed at almost every place we visited. We had a blast and stayed with some very cool hosts that showed us all about what the Couchsurfing experience is.
Now that I am traveling again I hope couchsurfing will give me another amazing experience.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A couple of years ago I met an Italian CS member in Rome who was hosting a Danish girl at the time. They told me everything about CS and I was very fascinated about this community. They were having such a great experience so I figured I HAD to join up and use the community for my own traveling experiences. And as mentioned, it did work out indeed. I can't think of any other way of traveling that giving.
By the way if you wanna check out my experiences of the roadtrip across the US with my buddy Kris, check out our old blog:

Interests
Enjoy life with my girlfriend, my friends and my family. Making new friends never gets old!
I like outdoor life a lot, epecially when I'm traveling. I love hiking, finding a deserted beach or anything that's wild and preserved. Nature is my friend! Whether it's beach or mountain.
I like sports too, I play football, basketball and try to go skiing every winter. But I'm always up for trying a new sport and I'm trying to learn surfing here in South America.
I also enjoy going out too, mostly if it's for a chill party with good beer/drinks and good people. But you can catch me dancing occasionally - I'd love to learn some samba moves while in Brazil!

Music, Movies, and Books
Ah man, where do I begin. I love music, really can't live without it. Unfortunately I don't play any instruments, though I'd love to play the guitar or the drums! But I'm into all genres man: rock & roll, reggae, hip hop, folk ... but mostly classic rock & roll including all the big ones; Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Doors, Velvet Underground, Pink Floyd, Traffic, Clapton, Hendrix.. you name it. But I also like keeping up with the beat and I love exploring and discovering new music. It's actually mostly new music I listen to now but the old ones come back once in a while. Through the last years I have been collecting records - Vinyls - old as new. And it's not about being fancy, I just enjoy looking at them and PLAYing them!
I love movies too and I'd see myself as a small-time collector of classics.. Or was, since it all streams online now. Movies like Taxi Driver, Godfather, Goodfellas, Donnie Brasco, Blow, Pulp Fiction, Snatch and Fight Club are certainly at the top of my list!
I haven't read that many books but I did read On the Road by Jack Kerouac. I loved it. I was inspired by it to do a US roadtrip of my own.
