I am an avid cyclist, adventurer, camper, and gardener! I am a student at Portland Community College pursuing my associates of arts, and transferring to Oregon Institute of Technology for renewable energy engineering.
My partner and I are new parents to our awesome little 6 month old boy Finn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I am going to United Bicycle Institute for 12 days in Ashland, Oregon and I don't know anyone.

I enjoy all types of music and some of my favorites include Woody Guthrie, Thelonius Monk, Generationals, RJD2, The Devil Makes Three, Brad Sucks, Cake, Flying Lotus, The Roots, Bliss n Eso, Aesop Rock, Atmosphere, Modest Mouse, Beck, Gorillaz, Rancid, Hilltop Hoods, Frank Sinatra, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Oasis, The Offspring, and The Bloodhound Gang.

Some of my favorite movies and TV shows include: One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, X-Files, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Modern Family, Stand By Me, Inspired Ride, Ride The Divide, any documentary on sustainability or the food industry, and most ridiculous and over the top comedies.

To be honest I don't have a lot of time for pleasure reading because I spend most of my reading time working on school and reading those books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved cross-country to Portland from Tennessee to learn more about and advocate for bicycles. I volunteered many hours to The Little City Bike Collective in my hometown before deciding to further my knowledge in bike mechanics in Portland and to further my education in college.

Basic bicycle maintenance, the art of pizza, basic auto mechanics. I'm always willing to learn any new skills.
