About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although my trip to Japan is a couple thousand dollars away, I'm here to make friends and to possibly host singles or couples from time to time who don't mind travelling just under an hour to get to the heart of Sydney city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
80s music - forever favourites will be "Cruel Summer" by Venus and "There is a Light that Never Goes Out" by The Smiths, Morrissey has a special place in my heart :3
Books:
Anything Stephen King is a go-to, Raymond Chandler a close second, and in a desperate, lonely moment I will always turn to the Lord of the Rings trilogy. In terms of manga, Junji Ito has done some of my favourite horror-guro like works.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love love love to teach English and Australian culture to anyone willing in exchange for some language and cultural lessons in return! Japanese preferably, but will happily accept anyone!! Korean, French, Italian, Russian are some languages I'm also super interested in learning~ I will also happily cook for you <3

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very familiar with the restaurant/pub scene in Sydney, specialising in the CBD and Inner West suburbs!! I love going to movies and am both happy to let you do your own thing, make suggestions or hang with you ^^ I also know the best tourist attractions, both free and from cheap to worth every dollar, familiar with the fashion scene and have quite a few connections spread out throughout Sydney who could possibly host you should you be a bit far from home. Hopefully, I will also have my license soon, and be able to pick you up/drop you off to public transport stations, drive you into the city, to one of the many beaches less than an hour or two away from my home.. anywhere you might want to go within reason :)

As I am fairly new to adulthood and still live with my family, I can offer you my ensuite bedroom with a queen sized mattress, television, bathroom and walk in closet, spacious and well ventilated as long as you don't mind a few posters and artworks on the walls :D By the time I am able to properly host, I'll most likely be staying somewhere not far from home and visiting nightly and of a weekend at the least. Until then, you can have my room - I'll sleep on the couch happily.
