About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the world we live in! ..I might have to save up some money first though -sigh- To finish vet school would be a good start I guess.

ABOUT ME

I love travelling. I love it. Love love love love love. There you have it. Most of it anyways. I'm also an extreme animal lover and I am currently studying to be a vet at Swedens Agricultural University in Uppsala.

When I was high school I went to the U.S as and exchange student and that really opened my eyes to the whole concept of living with complete strangers while abroad. I stayed with this middle-aged lady and her two cats and one dog and it was just the best! After I finished college my boyfriend (of almost 7 years) Patrik and I went to travel through Asia for 6 months. We've since then managed to get around a bit. Our most recent long-term travel was a road-trip through western Europe in our home-built caravan.

I currently live in a three bedroom apartment with my boyfriend, our dog Bilbo and our two cats Sauron and Gandalf. We have an extra bedroom with a pull-out couch (unfortunately it's not very comfortble). If you'd like to stay with us for a while just send me a message and I'm sure we can find room for you! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Get the most out of your life, enjoy it and spend it with people you love!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't taken in any surfers, nor have I surfed. Although, a friend of mine used to take in three surfers at a time to his one room apartment(!) and have them stay on his two couches and one got to sleep on a matress on the floor. I especially remember these three polish guys who were staying with him who (big surprise) treated us to their local (very potent) vodka. It was indeed an interesting night. Overall I've had a great experience with couchsurfers and I hope to have many many more!

Music, Movies, and Books

If you've read HPMOR we're bound to become great friends, if you haven't - Do it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungy jumping from a suspension bridge 160 m (524 ft) above a raging river. Eeeek!
Going swimming with elephants at "Elaphant Bath Time" in Chitwan National Park, Nepal. Wiie!

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like sharing stories. I am a fair cook and I know all about braiding hair!

Fun fact about Swedes:
People from Stockholm always stand on the right side of the escalator while riding it and walk on the right. If you want to annoy a person from Stockholm, just do the opposite! You're sure to get some irritated stares. Although, since we're all Swedish and all follow the Jante Law (google it) no one will actually ask you to move, or tell you that what you're doing wrong. Just give you a look and then go home and complain to their roomies about it (or Facebook).
