ABOUT ME

My friends would likely describe me as an honest, creative, strategic and caring individual. By day, I work as a brand and marketing strategist, while at night, I indulge in my passion for photography and cinematography.

I was born in Wuxi, China, and relocated to Melbourne with my parents at the age of 13. After living in Melbourne for approximately 10 years, I left in 2012 and travelled around the world for about 18 months, during which I discovered Couchsurfing. Following my travels, I decided to settle in Beijing China, where I worked for several years before returning to Melbourne in 2018.

Interests

I accidently fell in love with soccer when I was 9 because I failed to convince my dad to watch cartoon with me and I had to watch the 1998 World Cup with him as there was only one TV. I fell in love after watching that game and I started training semi-professionally. My favourite team was Brazil and Manchester United and my dream was becoming a footballer and play for MU.

My passion towards piano was influenced by my mum's passion towards classical music and I started playing piano when I was 10.

I bought myself a Nikon D7000 before I started traveling in 2012, and it has remained one of my favourite pastimes ever since. I particularly enjoy capturing anything related to people, whether it's portraits, individuals in their environments, or the vibrancy of street life.
