Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've hosted a couple of people, and we'd love to meet some more. One day we hope to do some surfing ourselves.

Interests

We love films. We'd be happy to watch one with you. We live near the wonderful Cornerhouse cinema, which shows international and independent films.

We love music. Two of us studied music at university and we number a pianist, a guitarist and an organist. Our favourites include Bowie, Björk and Mahler.

We love cycling. We know where bikes can be rented. We could go on a trip to the countryside.

We love drinking. We're more pub-goers than club-goers but we can recommend somewhere good to go dancing.

We're interested in politics and will chew your ear off if you let us. One of us is a trained journalist (try to guess which). We're particularly interested in anarchism, and we volunteer in anarchist and socialist community spaces.

Teach, Learn, Share

We're keen on languages. One of us is a qualified ESOL teacher. One of us can teach guitar and piano. We're learning German, Italian and Croatian. We're vegetarians and vegans who enjoy cooking and would love to cook international food with you.
