My list of hobbies includes travelling & taking photos, reading & listening to music, walking, biking & skiing, cooking and eating, visiting theatres, museums & art galleries, I like areas of historical interest.
Now let me describe each of these hobbies in further depth:
I travel every time I can. I have visited Finland & Sweden, USA, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, UAE & Oman, Belgium, Poland, France, Holland, Estonia, Spain, Italy & Vatican. All these countries with rich history and culture. I'm so enthusiastic about taking photos in new places during my travelling, especially I like architectural ensembles.
My favorite genres are historical fiction, drama, poetry and science fiction. Reading is not only a hobby of mine but a professional pastime, as well. I am a biologist. I always listen to music. I mainly listen to jazz & blues, rap rarely. My favorite singers are Louis Armstrong, Curtis Stigers, Robert Cray, Bonnie Raitt, Joe Bonamassa, etc.
Walking is something I do everyday. I don't own a car but I own two perfectly good legs. But I don't only walk out of necessity; I stroll, too. I wander around neighborhoods, parks, and nature trails because I enjoy observing new and old places. I bike much like a walk. In winter I mostly spend my time in mountains, I like skiing a lot.
Cooking as well as eating is a huge hobby of mine. My favorite courses include Russian, Japanise, Mediterranean and Chinese cuisine. When I travel I'm trying to taste something new.
Growing up in Saint Petersburg, watching live theatre has always been a part of my life. As for museums, I like it so much and I try not to miss the world's finest museums and other historical places.
Probably my hobbies is not so diverse or so exciting as many people's have but all the activities in my life is valued. I may not be the best at my hobbies, but at least I thoroughly enjoy them.
