Overview
About Me
My passion: stepping outside of my comfort zone.
Exploring, adventuring, hiking, experiencing life. I always have a camera at my side, am constantly creative, always laughing, and I adore meeting new people.
I might judge you for your taste in coffee...
but otherwise I'm very open minded.
Oh, and my spirit animal is 100% an otter.
CURRENT MISSION
To love unconditionally, learn endlessly, and explore fearlessly. A recent college graduate, I'm spending June and July traveling across the United States experiencing the mix of amazing cities and crazy subcultures this country has to offer. I'm stoked!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling is always better seen through the locals' eyes. That, and I find hospitality to be a beautiful thing. The house I've been living in for the past year often gets jokingly called a hostel because we always have people crashing on our couches. Home is about the people, not the place, you know?

Music, Movies, and Books
A fan of most all music besides screamo + super twangy country.
Memento or Fight Club are favorite movies, but my "need to watch" movie list is embarrassingly too long to admit.
Currently reading Wild. Fairly stoked on it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumped into Lake Michigan in 39 degree weather for a PR job interview.
(And got the job!)
Teach, Learn, Share
Photography, life lessons, a good laugh, and spontaneous adventure.
