ABOUT ME

i was born and raised in omaha nebraska. i moved to chicago in 2003 to go to college for interior design. i lived and worked there for 7 years, up until i moved to paris in october 2010 to study french. for 7 weeks in the summer of 2011, my best friend and i traveled all around europe and used couch surfing all along the way. i met some very amazing people through this site, and am happy to call them good friends.

i am now happily married to an amazing frenchmen who loves to travel just as much as i do. he is a newbie to couchsurfing, and i can't wait for him to discover how much traveling like this has to offer. we have traveled all over france, and had our honeymoon in sardinia. we traveled to the united states for a month in 2014, first time for him, and discovered the country together!

i love exploring new place, meeting new people, drinking red wine, and eating good (vegan) food. i enjoy biking, cooking, and any/all kinds of design. my family and my friends mean the world to me.

PHILOSOPHY

to listen to my heart, to open my eyes for the possibility of change to better myself. to be inspired by the beauty that i see and feel everyday. to show my love to the people around me and in my thoughts. to always have time to explore. this is my practice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i couchsurfed all around europe in the summer of 2011 with my best friend. it was amazing! now i have great friends in amsterdam, berlin, rome. i loved meeting new people and being shown around the town by a local. unforgettable way to travel around, i would suggest it to everyone!
