ABOUT ME
I've lived in three states, my favorite being northern Michigan. I lived along Lake Superior for all four years of college, it is my favorite place to be.
I like to have guests. I'm usually busy with work or school, but I make time for fun and rarely sit idle. In my spare time I like to run, climb, bike, backpack, and kayak. I am freakishly good at catching chickens.
I love bluegrass music and festivals, where I can dance through the night.

Teach, Learn, Share
I think catching animals is a fine skill to have, and you never know when it will come in handy. I've worked on a lot of farms, and I am quite handy at catching chickens.
How to catch a chicken:
1) Eye your target. It's probably a chicken. Keep yourself between the chicken and any exits.
2) Think. You are a coyote.
3) Go. A slow trot directly towards the bird, followed by a burst of speed at the last moment. Your inner coyote.
4) Catch. Close your hands not where the chicken is, but where the chicken will be. *This is essential*
5) You probably missed on step 4. Now the chicken knows what is up. Try to confuse it.
6) Catch again. You are catching future chicken, a split second from now. Stop trying to grab where the chicken is, grab where the chicken will be a moment from now. If you go after where you see the chicken, you'll miss every time, unless the chicken is dead. Why are you chasing dead birds?
8) You've caught the chicken, now be gentle.
