ABOUT ME
As a kid, I was always very curious and sociable. As I grew up, this two characteristics grew as well.
Long story short (I'll tell you in person, ha!) My desire to learn about other cultures and took me abroad for the first time at 13 years old to Germany, Switzerland and France. From there, it didn't stop, travelled alone to the USA for 1 month at 14. Moved to New Zealand for 1 year at 15, 2 months in Australia at 16.
Then at 18 years old I moved to the United States and I've been living here for the last 11 years (with a quick 8 months stint in Germany in 2015).
I've lived mostly in Florida but did a nomadic journey around the US as COVID hit and we could work remotely.
Currently I live in Hawaii and thinking about the next stop :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS back in 2011. I was always very involved (meetings, gathering, showing people around, surfing, etc) but the last few years, I haven't been as active. Trying to get back to it and show people the beautiful island of Oahu!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have participated in many different meetings in São Paulo, Brazil. Thereby, I met many people from all over the world. This led me to making friends and experiencing many different cultural events such as Hosh Hashana (along with several other Jewish holidays), American Thanksgiving, and many others.
Also, I have taken many Surfers around São Paulo.

In Florida, I have been to some meetings and participated in a 'Adopt a Surfer for Christmas' event during Christmas Eve.

Besides that, I have surfed in Tampa (FL), New York (NY), Gainesville (FL), San Francisco (CA), Prague (Czech Republic), Timisoara (Romenia), Belgrade (Serbia), Bucharest (Romenia), Istanbul (Turkey), Daytona Beach (FL) and West Palm Beach (FL).

Interests

I love to travel and meet new people. However, I'm not interested only in seeing the touristic sites, I want to learn about the people and understand their culture as well. Talking and sharing experiences is a must! There's just so much to find out and learn at other places and with other people.
My goal now is to build a global network of connections. I want to have at least one friend in every country.

Sport-wise, I love soccer and I'm trying to learn AcroYoga.
Whenever possible, I like to go scuba diving.

I a big fan of nightlife and I like to be out exploring new bars, parties and clubs (mostly underground electronic music).
