Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
hosting people and being hopefully a nice guest : )
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I tried couch surfing the first time winter 2010/ 2011 on a two month journey, in Turkey and Syria. I'm happy to get to know this way of meeting even more local people on my journeys.I like also if people visit me at my place, bringing a bit the atmosphere of traveling, and far away places to my home. In autumn 2011 I was cycling through Italy, from brennero to sizilia, not all nights but most nights I stayed at a couch-surfers place. I'm really thankful, for all of them supporting me to do this journey. Without couch-surfing, I would have probably also made this tour but it would have been much more hard. I looved to meet so many different people. On one hand its nice to cycle the day and at the evening, arrive at someone's place, and spend nice time together. On the other hand I was often sad to leave the person so fast again, if I am hosted I like to also make something for them cook and join the household, but if I just stay one night it's often not really possible, so I just could bring the wind of a crazy bike tour: )
