Overview
About Me
I'm a quiet but open minded person who loves traveling, hiking, meeting people from around the world, having deep conversations and sharing laughter with complete strangers, reading, learning, being surprised by life, admiring the art of nature... I'm interested in how life works, literally (I study biology). But also how we humans want to define everything; the words that we use, the way we think in words... from science to poetry.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As a host I would love to welcome you, hear your stories and show you around the place where I grew up.
I like the exchange of cultures and the openness of people.
Recently I found this Carlos Ruiz Zafón once wrote that reflects something I was thinking for a long time:
“…sometimes one feels freer speaking to a stranger than to people one knows. Why is that?“
“Probably because a stranger sees us the way we are, not as he wishes to think we are.”
