ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Maaike! I was born and raised in the Netherlands, but I moved quite some times to new cities. I have always loved travelling, this is what I do during my holidays and what I spend my money on. When I'm home, I'm always busy with my job, sports and hanging out with friends. However, I have lots of energy and I'm always open to meet new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy every moment to the fullest. Do nothing that you don't like. Take the most you can get out of every 24 hours.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to show people around in Maastricht / drink a coffee with them. Unfortunately, I have no couch available at the moment as I'm living in a small student flat where I have no couch at all! But I would like to use other people's couches..

I had drinks with different couch surfers in Maastricht. It was good :)

Algo increíble que he hecho

Youth Exchange Program to Brazil. I spent 2 months in a host family over there and had a great time. I also learned a lot, I was only 16 years old at the time, going there all by myself, knowing nobody, not speaking the language. It was a real experience to me!
