PHILOSOPHY

The only comparison between two people should be between me and yesterday's myself. If I'm happy with me of today, I assume I am heading into right direction, even though I have no idea of the destination!

It ain't too easy to find like-minded people. I feel like with couchsurfers the odds are much higher - therefore I am in!

Interessen

I have curiosity towards life and a strong will to figure out all the awesome things it offers. One experience and emotion at a time, small and large, good and bad, I am making my way towards fulfilling my dream of living life to the fullest.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

In small baby-steps, I've come to realize what is important for me in life (for sure I still have long way to go, but at least I'm on my way already!). One example of those moments is:

One late afternoon I was leaving the University to go home. I was lucky enough to encounter these two four-year-olds with their mom on the way. The Uni was practically empty and the kids made the most of it. They were running around and shouting with joy shining in their faces; they had entered some awesome imaginary world that I could not see.

We all came to this one door at the same time. Behind the door there was a group of serious business-people having a meeting on the corridor. Thus the mom said to the kids "When we go through this door, you need to behave. We don't want to interrupt those people there, right?" The kids got serious too and nodded. When the mom opened the door, all the seriousness vanished from the faces of the kids and it was all joy and shouting again! The effect was so great that it even made me laugh out loud! "How about that," I thought, "I'd like to perceive the world like those kids do, not the way all those serious people in this fancy seminar of theirs..."
