ABOUT ME

I like to wonder and be surprised - by people, places, weather, books, mountains, mathematical theorems... Being in awe because of an unexpected twist of events. Learning things which cannot be found on the internet. Listening to people who lived their stories.

And riding my bike, of course.

PHILOSOPHY

In my experience, one way to enjoy life is to enjoy the exchange of opposites - to know that to move in one direction you also have to move in the complementary one. It seems almost inevitable that somewhere along the way you will get lost in translation - but this is where the whole beauty of wandering (and wondering) lies.

Centres d'intérêt

I spend most of my time doing mathematics and climbing mountains - and these bring exceptional opportunities of meeting people and talking about things which they are passionate about. I read books which I find original, enjoy music and paintings which move me. And I cook my own cosmetics (literally). It brings an element of danger in the kitchen.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

The things which I would like to share are also the things which I would like to learn about more. If you`re interested, I`d love to talk about rock climbing, alpine mountaineering, surrealism, Vermeer, determinism, Ayn Rand or basically anything which moves you. And we can cook some (face) creams. Or abstract algebra and graph theory, if that`s your thing.
