ABOUT ME

Warm, friendly, real, considerate. Enjoy the outdoors; love camping and hiking; also love the serenity of doing nothing in the back yard. I love solo trips as well as trips with others. Have been to Burning Man 3 years, helped organize the local burn for 5. I am a naturist and run a local male nudist group, though I don't throw it in people's faces. I love bed & breakfasts more than fancy hotels, though I love fancy hotels as well. I feel as comfortable in a yurt as I do in a marble-floored penthouse suite.
I am partnered and we live together. We also have a roommate/friend. We are a multi-ethnic household: White-bread Utahn, Peruvian, and Filipino.
My partner and I are monogamous, if you are wondering.
I don't do drugs and don't allow drugs stronger than alcohol or pot in my home. I don't smoke, but you can on the deck or porch.
I have a friendly/sociable cat.

I love building things and restoring my 1917 bungalow. Nature and the outdoors call me. I'm interested in politics, alternative spiritualities and philosophies, but I rarely talk about any of those things as they are deeply personal to me. I became a gay activist when I left my parents' house in the 80s. I now own and publish the local gay news magazine.
I love karaoke and I sing in the Salt Lake Men's Choir.

This will sound trite, but sunsets will stop me in my tracks and are much of the reason I stay in Utah. You won't see better. I dare you to convince me otherwise. Family is the other reason I stay. The umbilical cord is short.
