I'm from the Netherlands. I study Urban Planning in Amsterdam. This year I'll spend a semester on an Erasmus exchange in Milan. I like having company, I enjoy being in new places and meeting new people.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I want to meet as many different people as possible. My neighbourhood in Amsterdam has many tourists since there are hostels and a camping nearby. I enjoy showing them around and letting them see the city from a local's point of view. I hope to have this experience in other countries as well.

Interessen

I enjoy traveling, meeting people, cooking, being in nature and in the mountains. I like snowboarding and climbing. I've always lived in cities, but the quiet of nature is a very welcome contrast to me. I like the experience of being in new places for the first time and doing things for the first time. In whatever I do I try to express myself creatively. I cherish experiences much more than material stuff.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies by Guy Ritchie and Quientin Tarentino. I like non-fiction books, about mountains or travel guides about countries I don't plan on visiting. I listen to a lot of different music, I like going to festivals where I don't know any artists and just be surprised by everything I hear.
