I am not a wild type. I an easy going person, able to get along with (almost) everyone and like to hang out with people. I am a curious person with lots of interest in many different areas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Two years ago I did not know that couchsurfing excised and came into contact with it through my best friend. She is a enthusiastic couchsurfer and has a lot of people over at her place. I really liked the idea but had no place to host people. I saw how fun couchsurfing really is, how many cool new people you get to meet, and how you can see a different, more real, side of a city compared to staying in a hotel.

Interests

I have lots and lots of interests. These interests probably stem from my curiosity and need to investigate how things work and to understand why things happen. Years ago I started studying physics 'to understand the universe'. Later when I finished that study I moved to social psychology. This was mainly due to my interest in magic and wanting to understand what influences and motivates people. Next to that I have been building and flying model air planes, been parachuting, indoor and ice climbing, and started a vegetable garden on top of the roof of our residence.

Parachuting!! That was a birthday present from my very best friend and roommate... Loved it!
