I am a student, 23 years old, and for the moment I am studying economics in Ghent. I like travelling and meeting other people, which is one of the reasons I have made this couchsurfing account. I like listening to music, go swimming, hiking, cycling (just to be active). Therefore I always go on active vacations: last year I cycled to Budapest, the years before I went hiking or canoeing...
For the moment I am making a trip from Turkey to Georgia: I will be taking the Trans-Asia Express from Ankara to Teheran, travel for some weeks in Iran, and then continue towards Georgia. Since I will be travelling solo, I would like to meet up with some locals who can learn me more about the town/country I am visiting.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I think it's a nice way to explore a country/city because locals always know some place that normally stay hidden for tourists. When travelling solo it is also a nice way to come in contact with other people.
