I'm currently in Lagos, Nigeria to work on a research project to complete my studies.

I'm an open and friendly person. I like the company of others a lot, but I can also enjoy my time when I'm on my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy being in Lagos so far, but I don't yet know many people. I'd like to explore the city and make some friends. I've had good experiences meeting people in Indonesia through Couchsurfing and I'm looking forward to get in toch with the Lagos community.

Interests

I have a broad interest in the world, so I like to read newspapers and watch documentaries , and generally dabble in anything that broadens my horizon.

I enjoy good food and like trying new things. From what I've heard Nigeria has really nice cuisine and I'd love to get to know it.

Then I like to run in order to relax and stay fit. I'm currently reading "Americanah" by Chimamanda Adichie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Witnessing the euphoric explosion of happiness when Ghana beat USA in a football match during the 2010 World Cup. I was lucky to be in Ghana at the time, to see people go crazy, drumming, dancing, singing, waving flags and running around.
