Hi! My name is Maartje, I am 31 years old and from the Netherlands. The past 12 years I have been living and first studying and later working in Amsterdam.
After finishing my masters degree in Social Geography, I have been working for the past six years in consulting, with different government bodies and at a research institute.
In Amsterdam I love to hang out with friends (favourite hang out: my rooftop terrace!), take long walks trough the city and go to the cinema.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am always up for meeting new people! When travelling I am always curious about local culture, so I love to learn from locals. Also the other way around: I love showing others life in Amsterdam!
