Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't done any couch surfing myself or hosted, I'm new at couch surfing, but like to experience new things! (I've been a member since november 2010, made my profile in April 2015)
Interests
At the question 'How do you spend your time?' I have one thing I'm (unfortunately) busy with: school. At the moment I study hotel management here in Amsterdam, which takes up a lot of my time. Nowadays I'm doing my internship at a sport's marketing company in Amsterdam. However, at the question 'What are the things that really grab your attention and make your life engaging?' I have a couple of answers ready. First of all I love skiing. I've been doing this since I was little and now I'm a skiing-instructor. I try to go skiing as much as possible, but of course it is never enough! Besides skiing I really love to travel of course. To call myself 'a traveler' would be, for now, to much of a name. After high school I went to the south east of Asia by myself for 4 months. This truly was a lifetime experience. As most travelers I got the so called 'travelers disease' and now want to explore the rest of the world. A long trip isn't possible at the moment, but I'll try to get here and there for a week (or two). Nevertheless I've done some diving, which I thought was amazing! Would love to do some more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
'Pick two or three moments that left you awestruck. What were they?' Hmm.., have to admit that the people of this website can come up with some really good questions. This question made me thinking. Of course I've seen a lot of things in my life and definitely during my trip to the south east of Asia, but what was so awe striking? Was it the time that the vending lady killed a rat with her feet in front of me or we're it the breathtaking views in the thai and egyptian ocean? To be honest, I don't really know the answer. When I think of something, I will write it down immediatly!
