Overview
About Me
Hello! I've always found these "about me's" kind of hard but here goes. I have so much gratitude to be alive and am an open minded and fun-loving person! I've just graduated from the University of Victoria, in my hometown on Vancouver Island, Canada. I did my Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Environmental Studies, while working at an organic and sourdough woodfire bakery. Growing up on Vancouver Island has nurtured in me a true love and respect for nature. My dad was also raised on the island, and my mom is from Japan. I've spent lots of time in Japan although my Japanese needs a lot of work, so I am always eager to practice! Otherwise I am only fluent in English, but am also hoping to learn French (and many many others).

Music, Movies, and Books
This list could go on forever! But here's a few... I love Edith Pilaf, Camille, Jefferson Airplane, Peter Gabriel, Frazey Ford, Velvet Underground, Al Green, Cat Power, Caetano Veloso, for music... I love all sorts of books and all sorts of genres (I took English Literature in university so the list is much too long) but I'm currently reading Yuval Harari's Sapiens and so far I'm enjoying it! Some movies I adore include the Sound of Music and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
