Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Celebrate and explore life
ABOUT ME
Admittedly, a strange specimen with a wild mix of backgrounds and passions. A former public interest lawyer that rides a unicycle to work or cross-country skis when it snows. Intensely reflective in one moment, exuberant in the next. Someone that scrambles for perfection and the next big peak to climb, but also contentment and inner balance.
PHILOSOPHY
Be the world you want to see.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been hosting unfamiliar travelers (and crashing on their couches) long before this became a world-wide virtual network. This certainly makes it easier to continue that tradition of hospitality and cultural bridging. At the moment, however, I lead a semi-nomadic lifestyle with no place of my own to host, though I still regularly come back to Washington DC.
Interests
Generally everything, with a leaning towards social justice, nature, music, art, sports, literature, politics, independent film, economics, conflict resolution, and science :-)
