I'm Maayke, I'm from the Netherlands and studying Psychology in the lovely town of Lund, Sweden. At the moment, my life consists of travelling, dancing lindy hop, working and meeting up with friends. I like trying out new things though, I'm open-minded! I love having nice conversations with both friends and strangers, there's always so much to learn from each other. My plans for the future are staying abroad, I want to continue travelling next year and staying here in Sweden or wherever else life takes me!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I love visiting new places, but I want to get to know it from the inside, I don't want to have seen just the touristic sightseeing tour (although those are amazing as well of course).
Other than that, I love meeting new people from those places and I'd be glad to return the favour of hosting some of you. I love exchanging stories about traveling and experiences. I've had a couple of really nice couchsurfing experiences both surfing and hosting, so I'm definitely planning to keep doing this.
