Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is an amazing way to travel cheaper, meet new interesting people and learn more about other countries, other cultures and yourself. Great way to get a sense of local life in whichever country you are or plan to go to!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: anything but mainstream. I listen a lot to indie folky music, and even more to classics from the 60's/70's. Love old blues. Too many favorite movies to name, Amelie and Into the Wild are definitely up there. Books: I love thriller page-turners or non-fiction books about topics of interest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking the Grand Canyon, studying in the States, surfing in Sri Lanka, snowboarding in Austria, working and living in South Africa , living in California, visiting Hawaii, and traveling solo through South East Asia. And much more, my life is pretty damn amazing since I am traveling all the time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have been hosting people in my little apartment in Amsterdam, but I moved out, packed my backpack and decided to travel for 6months. Now 6 years later I am still traveling, haha. I would like to take the opportunity to do some couchsurfing myself now or meet up for a chat and a coffee with a local.
