Hello,

Mabell is my name, and I was born in the Pearl of the Orient Seas, a.k.a the Philippines! I have happily lived and worked in NZ for several years, but there was this huge curiosity of Middle Eastern life and culture that in July 2021, I bit the bullet and got myself to the Arabian Peninsula.

I have read about CS through a featured article and was wowed by its concept.  I got inspired and thought of joining the group but never got the chance to...
until one day, whilst on a train in my China trip, I have personally met a couple who are bonafide CSers!  They've acted as the recruiters LOL.  Then, on my first ever setting foot to the European land (my recruiter's then residence in Germany), my Couchsurfing journey began 😊😊😊

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am interested to not only see what a place boasts for by being a tourist but also to explore around and enjoy the place by getting to know the locals and their way of life.  I have the desire to have a personal connection with people and what is dear to them, their families, their homes, their friends, their land, and their culture.
