About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live life to the fullest!

ABOUT ME

I'm a Chinese American born and raised in sunny California near the heart of the Silicon Valley. I love learning and trying new things (explains the travel bug!). I also love love love theater and the performing arts, particularly comedy sketch and improv. Recently, I quit my job in finance to pursue studies in educational policy. After my travels, I will be settling down in New York City for the next couple of years.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short so don't be bogged down in the rat race. Pursue your passions, live in the moment, and cherish your family and friends. Life's value is measured by the relationships you've nurtured, not the amount of outward success achieved.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked through the province of Yunnan with a group of locals. Throughout the course of the 2-week trip, I lived in a village that's only accessible by foot (9-hour trek over a mountain), drank yak tea, went "clubbing" with mountain men, accidentally married on local TV, and visited a once matriarchal village where women were allowed to practice polygamy.
