Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When you visit different countries, it is often difficult to find a way of meeting people or experiencing the real city. Anyone can read a travel guide, but only locals know where to go, what to see, where to eat etc.
I often visit fairs and conferences in cities meaning I can't do much during the day, but I am willing to experience the night life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a favourite genre, if a film is well made, then it is worth watching, one is often disappointed if one watches a film just because of a specific actor or director as it doesn't measure up with their other films.
quite like mafia films, thoug.
I work as a translator meaning that I read all day and often have the notion to read a good book any more, sad but true. When on holiday I read everything I can.
