About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To feel the world with all my senses

ABOUT ME

I've travelled quite a bit people could say. I enjoy meeting new people and being immersed in new cultures and places. I believe that travelling is the best way to find your inner self and aspirations.

I moved to Canada for my studies 5 years ago and so far it has been a great experience. I really love the cold winters.

Ever since I got here (Toronto), I've witnessed my room-mates stealing a seat from a TTC streetcar, I've fallen unexpectedly due to my legs suddenly paralyzing, and I have met so many people with exciting stories.

I'm very interested in art (I'm an abstract painter), I especially like Russian artists and abstract art. I also work for an arts magazine as a photographer, which is something I also love.

I'm a pretty experienced swimmer (and I try to go swimming everyday), so if you feel like joining me and bringing some competition, Im up for that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have provided couch to a few people and we've become good friends!

Interests

- the cold (that probably fundamentally defines me)
- contemporary art (mostly abstract stuff), though I love Picasso, Kandinsky, Arp, Kahlo and others too.
- walking, eating, chatting, movies
- discovering new places
- dancing and clubbing, though I am not into clubbing every day
- epidemics, pandemics, or anything that has to do with health or disease (I hope to become a medical anthropologist!)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like almost any type of music except country, rap and religious stuff. I like alternative stuff such as fever ray, jonsi, foster the people, but also mainstream music like the killers, coldplay, lana del rey.

I hate horror movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just spent six months living in Brazil, most amazing country on earth.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm fluent in Spanish, and though I don't really know the reason why my language is the way it is, I can still help you learn some phrases and words. I can also teach you a lot about art and contemporary cultural stuff (if anyone is interested in that).

I'd like to learn a third language, learn to cook food from other places, etc.
