PHILOSOPHY
1) whatever I do, good or bad, it will come back to me...so I try to be as good as I can ;)
2) everything would be just as it has to be - either that means good or bad...but after some time we realize that even bad things had something good in
3) live today, maybe tomorrow isn't there for all of us
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
EDIT: Unfortunately, pandemic and also sharing the house stopped me from hosting, which I love. I hope soon I will start to host again.
I found out about CS in a long gone 2008. :) and I fell i nlove with the idea!
And I participated mostly by hosting people, trying to be as best host as I can be and talking about CS and being sort of advertiser ;)
About length of stay:
I know that staying one night is sometimes necessary, but I like it more when my guests stay 2-3 days, so that we can get to know each other a bit and have time to exchange thoughts and experiences. :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As a host lot more than as a guest. For a town with not much tourists quite enough, I would say.
( And hosting bands who play in Osijek in couchsurfing way, but not by using it, so it's different story ;) )
Everything went great.I felt as I was traveling too, although I stayed at home :)
As a surfer just three experiences, so far. :)

Amelie.- makes me laugh.everytime.
Bridges of Madison county - makes me cry everytime.
Mamma Mia - makes me sing and dance around the room.
Sliding doors - makes me think "what if?"
and,I almost forgot, "Breakfast at Tiffany's" - Holly simply amazes me! :)
Music...love music.never had guts to be in a band myself and always've wanted it.But in autumn 2013 I had TWO :D gigs with a guitarist singing some covers, so I proved to myself I can do it, after all! ;)
rock. blues. metal.some of that pop songs that make you move your hips like a belly dancer ;)
Skunk Anansie, Stone Sour,The Beatles, Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters, AC/DC
Books...hmmm.
love to read.but actually not reading as much as I want to at the time. Sometimes I like light reading and sometimes some of those which shake you and make you think.
November 2013 my friend and I started a book club in Osijek and I'm very proud of it! And the book club is still going on, even with pandemic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing thing I've done - survived through the death of my boyfriend ( I was about to marry ) which shook my world from the ground - and managed to stay farely normal after that
Amazing thing I've seen - the good in people :)
Teach, Learn, Share
share - smile :) and spirit :)
learn - every situation is some kind of learning something, isn't it
teach - the hardest one, uhh
could teach everything I know, but it's not much :(
maybe could teach you how to play piano, for starters :)
