ABOUT ME

I am fascinated by the world we live in, and believe in constantly cultivating my mission in this life. I currently live in the Peruvian Amazon (Ucayali), working with the Shipibo-Konibo. I am currently training to get my Somatic Experiencing certification in Santiago, Chile!

PHILOSOPHY
I believe in profound mutual respect between human beings. I am a feminist and advocate for human and nature's rights.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed before when I was in college. When I have a space available, I accept women who are traveling alone and need a safe space.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed for the first time on August 9th in Amsterdam and it was FANTASTIC! It made my trip so much better! It is an incredible way to travel. Thank you Emke and friends!!!

Interests

I just try to live life to my fullest and am eager to learn from people who offer a safe space as a woman :) I am interested in sustainable ways of living, in creating a conscious and intentional life, in expressing myself through the arts, and trying to find my purpose in this world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Current:
Living life in the Peruvian Amazon is pretty amazing.

Back in the day:
Bungee jumping in Victoria Falls, walking with lions and jungle trekking for days, getting stopped in the Rwandan border but managing to make it through in an awesome way, and couchsurfing through Europe! Recently, has a shot with a live jungle worm in it. Yay for insects.
