ABOUT ME

I am a friendly and smiling girl, I have a very positive attitude in life. I think this is why I the people always help me and there are so nice to me, and I believe to have a lucky star : ) I am easy going, I adapt quickly to new situations, so that everything flows in my life.
Since childhood I was taught to respect and appreciate nature, I have a deep admiration for the environment, I am vegetarian, love animals and I fight for they rights. As a student, with some friends we gathered and formed an organization for animal rights, we had a refuge for stray dogs (which is a big problem in my country), we did adoption and education campaigns, demonstrations against Circuses and endless activities, despite how stressful it was this time I remember it as one of the best things I did, I learned a lot from this experience.
As I said before, I love nature, whenever I have chance, I grab my backpack and sleeping bag and go camping. I have traveled in almost all my country , with a tent, sleeping bag and trusting people who crossed on the journey, most of the time I hitchhike, which is another thing I love to do, the adventure of not know where you end the day … I love it!
I love my family and friends, I am totally grateful for everyone and all, thanks to them I am what I am, because we are part of a whole. My family is very united and sociable, always rely on each and every time there is an opportunity, we gather to share and laugh, always insist that we have the best family! I have a great relationship with my parents, a lot of trust and respect.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I never had a CouchSurfing experience, but every time that I have my own place I let people staying in my house... I just try to give back what others have given .

Interests

nature! traveling!.... since I was a kid my father teach me the value of nature... so every time that I have a chance, I try to go to a natural place to go camping or walking.
I love animals... that's why I'm vegetarian

sewing, I have my own sewing machine with which I try to do my clothes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back in Chile .. a few years ago ... with some friends started to help with some stray dogs ... (which is a big problem in my country, especially in Valparaiso) we finished with a little shelter with about 60 dogs in our care, we also created a pro animal rights organization ... We did a lot of education and activism. Although it was a very stressful time, because sometimes we did not have enough money to take care of all dogs, I still remember it as one of the best experiences in my life!

When I was in New Zealand had the opportunity to help in a stranding of whales .... I think it's one of the saddest thing I've seen in my life .... was devastating for me to see this beautiful animal so helplessly and vulnerable but at the same time I felt very lucky to be able to help.... fortunately most of them survived.
